CAMPFIRE CIRCLE SHARING Today's Campfire Circle was very interesting. It was great to hear other classmate's "stories". Sitting around a campfire is a wonderful way to share and build community. WE ARE ARTISTS & MATHEMATICIANS Today we completed an project where we drew fall leaves and contour lines. We then coloured our leaves using a repeating pattern. Who knew math could be so creative and so much fun. FIRST FIRE DRILL OF THE YEAR
Burrr! It was a chilly one today, but we managed to get through our first Fire Drill of the year safely and following school expectations. We learned that being quiet, walking single file, making our way to the meeting spot and returning to the build in silence keeps everyone safe. We also learned that wearing a "hoodie" or "sweater" at school will keep us warm when we have to go outside unexpectedly. Parents: please send your child to school in layers for comfort and safety. Merci! Comments are closed.
