BRING A BUTTERFLY HABITAT TOMORROW! Our butterflies have not yet come out of their chrysalis, which means that each student is asked to bring in a clear, plastic container with small holes poked into the lid so that Mme Ireland can transfer the chrysalis for each student. This way, students can create their own habitat for the caterpillar to continue its transformation (metamorphosis). Once the butterfly emerges from the chrysalis, it will need a day to pump and dry its wings (you will see that it will remain suspended on the lid). Please do not keep it once it is ready to fly. Release it into nature and make a wish. If it does not make it through the transformation, please release it into the wild so that it can become part of the ecosystem as a food source. Remember to still make a wish. Tomorrow in the gym at 8:45 am. All parents are welcome! Animal Research Projects - Today students shared their research about a variety of different animals. Bravo les amis! Vous avez trouvé des informations et faits, très intéressants.
